Hey, so - first-time modder here, gone through a few things and I think I know what I'm doing in terms of setting things up and getting a mod to function. If the item is used (Fully charged after dealing 20000 damage), heal 3 red hearts and gain Tears & Shot Speed Up for 3 seconds but subtracts 2100 from the counter. Instant Game Over to the player when counter reaches 0 (simplest way, give 12 broken hearts)

If player "dies" when hearts run out revive with full health at the cost of subtracting 750 per heart to the counter. Change Devil deals price to subtracting 1000 per Heart Containers required from the counter instead of Heart Containers. The way the Steam Workshop treats subbing to a mod from there is really unorthodox. Auto-recover half heart for each 30 seconds when player is injured (not at full health).Īdd 1750 to the counter after clearing a boss fight (Cannot go higher than starting value). The item has a counter which starts from 35000 and drains overtime by 2 per second in offensive rooms (drain speed increases by 1 per empty heart). Here's the effects I'm trying to give to the item: I want to create an item (exclusive to a tainted character serving as a pocket active) but I don't really know coding so I'm asking for help.
